Supporting the Social-Emotional Needs of Your Child & Yourself

In today’s world, with so much going on, many of us have realized that we need to know more about social-emotional learning (SEL) and wellbeing. Schools are focusing on SEL and families want to know how they can continue to support this at home. This session will offer you an introduction to Conscious Discipline, an SEL support program used in all BCPS elementary schools, along with some tricks, tips, and strategies to connect deeper with your kids (and loved ones), understand the human brain a bit more, and possibly makes your life a little easier.
